Our Programs
In one year from today you can be where you wished you were three years ago. Value Every Day is transformational.
By steadily working with you, Stein’s Way helps you take a transformational and strategic approach. Transformation results in lasting change, not just for you and your business, but for your customers.
- Define your desired future outcome. Stein’s Way is an Outcome-Based Solution, so that your desired outcome is our main focus.
- Strategically increase the perceived value of your product or service. You’ll begin to attract more high-end customers who willingly pay more.
- Increase overall effectiveness. Once you know where you’re going, it’s much easier to streamline the process of getting there. Develop effective systems that people prefer, not avoid.
- Create lifetime high-end customers. As you learn to define and achieve your outcomes, you do the same for your best customers. They’ll reward you with business for life.
We have six areas of specialization:
1. Organization Development
According to Warren Bennis, Organization Development is a complex strategy intended to change the beliefs, attitudes, values, and structure of organizations so that they can better adapt to new technologies, markets, and challenges.
We work with your human capital over an extended period so that you truly integrate new learning and creativity into the fabric of your organization.
Examples of programs include:
- Creating the Future
- Leading Integral Projects
- Supervisory Leadership
- Other customized programs
2. Project Management
Did you recently get thrown into a project manager role? Have you been a project manager for a while, but just can’t understand why your projects keep breaking down? Is project management in your organization more like project MANGLEMENT?
You’re not alone! With changes in business processes over the past 20 years, most organizations have become highly projectized. It takes projects, after all, to put those business processes in place. The spin-off of this is that all of us in today’s business place are at least part-time project managers – often with little to no formal project management education or training.
Integral Project Management changes all that. Integral refers to any element within your project that is determined to be essential to the overall and total completeness of the project. Through two days of immersion in the best practices in the field, you will leave confident, empowered, and ready to take ANY project head on, and change the course of projects in your organization. The current state of the economy requires that project managers are highly effective at what they do, getting project results right – right now!
3. Supervisory Leadership
The front-line supervisor performs a unique and critical role in today’s organizations. They must balance organizational goals with employee needs. They must be able to communicate, delegate work, manage time, conduct evaluations, and create a safe work environment where everyone has an equal opportunity for advancement. This program offers an opportunity to learn methods that assist first-line supervisors in upgrading supervisory skills, creates a forum to network with others in like postiions, and provides the oppotunity to focus discussions on the important role of the supervisor.
Stein’s Way Supervisory Leadership Series provides a variety of training courses designed to enhance supervisory excellence. Your organization or association may customize its own program from this list of courses.
4. Training and Development
Training and development involves any activity aimed at bettering the performance of individuals and groups in organizational settings. In today’s workplace, it more important than ever to work smarter and invest in learning that bends the trend or progress more dramatically than in the past. According to one Chinese proverb, “Learning is like rowing upstream – to not advance is to drop back.”
Our approach to training and development is once again transformational, assessing your organization and human resources for opportunities to take leaps forward, rather than steps. Information fades, while transformation builds and enhances. Count on our training sessions being high involvement programs, where you come up with the answers and strategies for real world problems. (That’s where the trend-bending comes from.)
5. Executive and Business Coaching
Executive coaching is an experiential and individualized leader development process that builds a leader’s capability to achieve short- and long-term organizational goals. It is conducted through one-on-one and/or group interactions, driven by data from multiple perspectives, and based on mutual trust and respect. The organization, an executive, and the executive coach work in partnership to achieve maximum impact.
The coaching partnership uses tailored goals and approaches, including:
- Creation of a development plan
- Skill building
- Performance improvement
- Development for future assignments
- Exploration, definition, and implementation of the executive’s leadership and the organization’s business objectives
Executive coaching is primarily concerned with the development of the executive in the context of organizational needs. The coaching objective is to maximize the executive’s effectiveness and his contribution to the organization. The coach develops an understanding of the broader business context in which the executive operates, with particular emphasis on key business initiatives directly relevant to the executive. The executive and coach then agree upon specific results that best reflect the organization’s business objectives. Successful executive coaching links a business focus with human processes by closely aligning the executive’s development with critical business needs.
6. Public Speaking and Writing
You define the results you want. Then, we work towards those results throughout the year. By the time we complete our work, you will have:
- More time on your hands.
- A more profitable business.
- Greater effectiveness in all areas of your business.
What else do you need from me? This entire process is about you: your business, your goals, your vision, and your life. My job is to help you to deliver the results you want – consistently.
